How to Get Involved with Legae ICT as a Volunteer, Donor, or Partner

Legae ICT grows through people who contribute their time, money, and networks. If you believe that digital education should reach every South African young person regardless of background, there are three direct ways to act on that belief.

Option 1: Volunteer Your Skills

Volunteering with Legae ICT means sharing what you know directly with learners. The organization runs programs in ICT education, coding, robotics, entrepreneurship, and community outreach. Each of these areas benefits from volunteers with relevant expertise.

If you work in technology, education, business development, or community work, your knowledge has direct application in Legae ICT’s programs. You work alongside young people and see the impact of your contribution in real time.

Volunteering does not require a long-term commitment to be valuable. A single workshop, mentorship session, or guest presentation adds real value to learners who have limited exposure to working professionals in technical fields.

Option 2: Make a Financial Donation

Every donation to Legae ICT funds the expansion of programs into more schools and communities. Contributions go toward training materials, digital equipment, facilitator support, and the development of new program offerings.

South Africa’s rural and previously disadvantaged communities have limited access to the hardware and software that urban learners take for granted. A donation helps close that gap. It puts functional computers, coding tools, and robotics kits into the hands of learners who would otherwise go without.

No donation is too small. Legae ICT operates in a context where modest financial support creates measurable outcomes. A contribution that covers one learner’s materials can change the trajectory of that person’s education and career.

Option 3: Partner With Legae ICT

Organizational partnerships are the third way to support Legae ICT’s mission. The organization already partners with Kids Coding Academy and several Gauteng schools. It actively seeks new partners who share its commitment to digital access for youth.

If your organization serves youth, operates in education, or works in the technology sector, a formal partnership creates mutual benefit. Legae ICT brings community trust, program delivery experience, and established school relationships. Your organization brings resources, expertise, or networks that amplify what Legae ICT does.

Partnerships do not need to be large or complex. A school that opens its doors to a Legae ICT program, a business that sponsors equipment, or a professional body that provides mentors all qualify as meaningful partners.
